Recently I did a study of the life choices of women who graduated from Rockford College,1890-1920. I compared these with the life choices of the graduates of Bryn Mawr, Wellesley, and the University of Michigan as reported by Roberta Frankfort in her excellent book on domesticity and the woman's college. Although I know a great deal about Rockford, Bryn Mawr, and Wellesley during the Progressive Era, I know very little about women's experiences at the University of Michigan during that era, Perhaps someone out there has done some research on this topic or can suggest some recent studies.
