Initial one-year contract with possibility of renewal. Ph.D. and teaching experience preferred. Most teaching would be in world history since 1200 CE and the ability to teach additional courses in Asian or African history is highly desirable. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to teach in and to expand Drexelís graduate program in Science, Technology, and Society (STS). Drexel University is a private, urban university with over 10,000 full-time undergraduates and is well-known for its cooperative education program. The Department of History & Politics is within the College of Arts & Sciences and offers BA and BS degrees in History and Politics as well as an MS in Science, Technology, and Society.
