RESUME: Informations sur une ancienne structure (tata) au Mali From: Donald Z Osborn <osborndo@pilot.msu.edu> Sent: Sunday, June 11, 2000 11:39 AM I recently visited a village rather off the beaten path in southern Mali where there is a fairly significant remnant of the old pre-Samory defensive wall that once surrounded the community's original site. I have no idea how common still-standing sections of tatas are in this region, but it's the first such ruin I've seen in any village (Sikasso and its famous tata being on another scale). Anyone interested in details can contact me. Don Osborn osborndo@msu.edu
