The Historic New Orleans Collection announces a new fellowship to support scholarly research and promote the history and culture of Louisiana and the Gulf South. The inaugural Dianne Woest Fellowship in the Arts and Humanities will be awarded in 2006. The fellowship carries a stipend of $4,000/month, to be disbursed on a monthly basis for a minimum of one and a maximum of three months. Applications may be downloaded at www.hnoc.org.
