Many of you know that John Lawrence has started an Area within PCA/ACA for electronic communications. We foresee panels on this general area, to include panels about this list. We anticipate having a social hour so that we can meet those with whom we have communicated over the year and to win over converts. All of this will happen at the national meeting in April, 1995 in Philadelphia. If you have suggestions for panels or if you have a presentation, write to John Lawrence prior to September 1: JSL001@chief.morningside.edu Peter Rollins ******************************************************************* Here is a posting from far away on this very topic! I am a fourth years honours student at the Australian National University, currently researching issues concerning the political and social implications of electronic communications such as the Internet and the World Wide Web. I recently received notice of the PCA/ACA Meeting to be held next year, via the H-Ideas subscriber list run by BITNET. Unfortunately, it would be almost impossible for me to attend. However, I was wondering if it were at all possible to get the addresses of individuals or subscriber lists who may be willing to discuss such issues with me. I would be much obliged if you could forward any addresses to my e-mail account at b9104180@sutdent.anu.edu Sincerely Michael Baczynski ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Michael Baczynski (b9104180@student.anu.edu.au) ========================================
