Enviado el: jueves, 25 de abril de 2002 04:11 Hi Martina. I've used Francesca Miller's Latin American Women and it worked reasonably well. I have also used Marysa Navarro, et al's Women in Latin America and the Caribbean: restoring women to history (Bloomington: Indiana University Press, 1999), which also worked reasonably well. Both place women in a broader historical context and can almost substitute for a standard textbook (particularly for students w/ little background in Latin American history). Navarro's book is shorter and probably more accessible. marc. _________________________________ Marc Becker Assistant Professor of History Truman State University marc@yachana.org http://www.yachana.org
