Enviado el: sábado, 27 de abril de 2002 12:24 I think that the earliest explicit reference to Braudel and the Caribbean is the following, which can be located by a search on HAPI periodicals database: Morse, Richard M. "The Caribbean: Geopolitics and Geohistory." Revista de Historia [São Paulo] 102 (1975): 731-750. Morse probably was also influenced by Sidney Mintz's essays on the Caribbean region. ===================== Dain Borges, Associate Professor Dept. of History / University of Chicago 1126 East 59th St., Mailbox 35 Chicago, IL 60637-1580 Tel: (858) 947-9173 [home]; (773) 834-0284 [office]. =====================
