Announcements Wednesday, April 3, at 4 pm in room 2609 International Institute (SSWB) Cuban Artist Rolando Estevez (Matanzas, Cuba) presents "Making Art in Today's Cuba: Self-Reflexive Art and Handmade Books." This special LACS presentation is a slide show and discussion about Rolando Estevez's visual art, which uses distortions of his own image to comment on issues of gender, sexuality, power, and identity in contemporary Cuba. Estevez will also discuss his work producing original artisanal book designs for Ediciones Vigia in Matanzas, Cuba.
