The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum is sponsoring a conference, to be host by Marquette University, on "Women as Holocaust Victims, Survivors and Rescuers. The agenda consists of three lectures and one panel/discussion. On Wednesday, the 29th of October, Nechama Tec will speak on "Women in the Partisan Movement." On Sunday, November 2, there will be a panel discussion; the panelists are three survivors and one rescuer. On Wednesday, November 5, Joan Ringelheim of the Memorial Museum will speak on "Genocide and Gender: a Split Memory." On Sunday, November 9, Eva Fleischner will speak on "Women Rescuers during the Holocaust." All events are open to the public.
