For displaying "ts" in Hausa documents (typesetting or on desktops), does anyone use a ts ligature/digraph (the two letters connected in a single glyph at a single codepoint - i.e. like a single character)? I'm thinking of a usage similar to that in French of the oe ligature - o - as in the word oeuvre - ouvre (MSWord set to French language will automatically transform oe to o). There is a Unicode character for the ts, U+02A6, but I'm guessing it was not intended for Hausa. Though it could I suppose be adapted for this use. The question arises from discussion about a web-based basic Hausa learning module, and the character requirements for it. Thanks in advance.
