-------- Original Message -------- Subject: Extended Arabic characters - comments sought Date: Mon, 2 Dec 2002 10:51:23 +0000 From: "Charles.BECKER" <Charles.Becker@ird.sn> Reply-To: H-Net Discussion List on History and Study of West Africa <H-WEST-AFRICA@H-NET.MSU.EDU> To: H-WEST-AFRICA@H-NET.MSU.EDU From: "Don Osborn" <email@example.com> Date: Mon, 2 Dec 2002 11:15:30 +0100 Nicolai Dobronravine passed on a copy of a .pdf file of some extended Arabic characters put together by Kamal Mansour, with a request for feedback. I've posted this for the moment at http://www.bisharat.net/A12N/Afro-Arabic_Symbols.pdf with a "document review" page for reader comments (or collecting comments posted elsewhere) at http://www.quicktopic.com/18/D/y4dBcRx9hQWK.html . The purpose of the latter is to try to collect observations and comments on additional extended Arabic characters for Ajami in one place. It may also be (as I learned on another list) that people on this list would tire quickly of too much discussion on the particulars of Ajami.
