CALL FOR PAPERS. We are seeking a paper for a proposed panel for the 12th Berkshire Conference on the History of Women, June 6-9, 2002 at the University of Connecticut, Storrs.. The topic of the panel is Women and Property in Late Medieval and Early Modern Europe. The panel already includes papers on Germany and Italy. We are seeking a third paper on another geographical area of Europe. We will also consider a paper from another part of the globe. To go along with the conference theme, the paper should consider the interaction between women's property holding and local issues <EN DASH> for example, politics, the local economy, or local family structure. Anyone interested in presenting such a paper should contact Ann Crabb at crabbam@jmu.edu. Please answer quickly, as the deadline for submitting the panel is December 15, 2000. -- Crabb, Ann M crabbam@jmu.edu
