In response to Hershberg, I am presently in a distant and unlikely location and have no access to any of this material, but in the MAJIC hoax, the sole item traceable to a real document is a doctored letter from General George C. Marshall having to do with the original MAGIC intercepts. As to Gallagher, I continue to hold that it is not up to me to prove the hoax, but up to him to prove the authenticity of the document. Now we have a claim that the leak of the post cold-war deterrence document was actually confirmed by federal authorities. Where and when? A clarification: when I said the post coldwar deterrence hoax was demonstrable, I did not mean, "demonstrable by Stephen Schwartz while he is traveling in the Balkans and East Asia without access to the materials, or time on a computer more than about an hour daily." I meant, demonstrable when I get back around June 7 and have the time and computer acess to do the job. Could he specify his sources as to the use of MAGIC in "MAJIC"? Just curious. Regards, Jim Hershberg George Washington University
