[Please respond directly to Sean Cox <firstname.lastname@example.org> --DL] From: Sean Cox <email@example.com> Dear Colleagues, I am new to the list and certain that my question is a bit banal, but I have a short time to find answers to it, and no other ideas that have panned out. I need to find a text book(s) to teach a year long course on "Diplomatic History of the World." As this is not my field (or a subject I have extensively explored), I am somewhat at a loss (countless catalogs and publishing websites have texts that seem to cover certain aspects, but nothing comprehensive). Recommendations from others have included Kennedy's "Rise and Fall..." and Palmer and Colton's "A History of the Modern World." The caveat is that I would like to find something that is accessible to non-native English speakers if possible, my students meeting this description. Please feel free to contact me directly at the following email address. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Sean Dr. Sean M.
