Ideology did not end, despite Daniel Bell, in the 1950s and history, irrespective of Francis Fukuyama, never stopped. With respect, the flaw in both works is captured in Mr Coatney's worry re "our way" failing to transplant. The rest of the world does not necessarily want to be made over in the image of a particular country or system, even if this denies the "West" the "chance to control humanity's destiny".
