[2 replies] From: Bruce Retallack <firstname.lastname@example.org> Hi, I did extensive research on Canadian cartoonists for my phd thesis, and can confirm that the pronounciation rhymes with 'cough'. I don't have the citation at hand, but Bengough himself at one one point wrote a poem with that rhyme scheme. Cheers, Bruce Retallack, PhD --- From: Franz Klingender <email@example.com> Well if the community in central Saskatchewan is named after the fellow (and I am pretty sure it would have been) the correct pronuncation is Ben..cough.
