Specialization is open, but preference will be given to candidates whose research focuses on trans-regional connections, the Mediterranean world, and/or Indian Ocean networks. Teaching duties include a global history survey and upper level undergraduate electives, especially ones with a global focus. Ph.D. required at the time of appointment.
