Duke University is located in Durham, North Carolina in the U.S.A. International Comparative Studies is an undergraduate interdisciplinary program that bridges the humanities and social sciences. The successful candidate will have completed a Ph.D. in an area related to the intellectual focus of ICS and will demonstrate evidence of an active global or transnational research and publication agenda in a relevant discipline or interdiscipline. The selected candidate will also demonstrate ability to teach core ICS courses, work effectively with students and colleagues, and contribute appropriate service in the program, including undergraduate advising.
