Next spring the University of Nebraska Press will be publishing just such a study, INDIANS IN THE U.S. AND CANADA: A COMPARATIVE HISTORY, by Roger Nichols. This work is designed to be an overview of the history of Native-White relations across the entire North American continent. Take a look--it's an accomplished, pioneering piece of scholarship, one which should pave the way for future comparative studies.
