I have been using the videospigot, and it works quite well, despite it's low cost. The frame rates and frame sizes you can get out of it are dependent on the CPU you put it in, and the amount of RAM and speed of your hard disk. I was able to capture 30 fps video and sound at 120 x 160 pixels on a Mac IIfx. The RasterOps 24STV is a better board, but my experience is that it does not capture at frame rates as high as the spigot. I was only able to get about 6 fps on my initial tests. I have ordered RasterOps ImagePro daughter- board which is supposed to give extremely high frame rates and frame sizes, but I was recently told that release of the ImagePro has been postponed indefinately. I would be interested to hear from others about their experience with these boards. Lou z Lou Zweier Academic Computing Services Cal. State, Long Beach firstname.lastname@example.org
