xFrom: "Gale Tidwell 813 639 2118/EXT.131" <TIDWELG@mail.firn.EDU> Subject: Ancient Greece Hello - My name is Dave Fletcher. I'm a Latin/Spanish teacher in Southwest Florida. This summer I'll be studying in Greece with the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. As a part of this program I need to prepare a report on several classical sites. The most elusive on my list are ELEUTHERA and AEGOSTHENA. So far all I've discovered is that they were significant parts of the defensive fortress system of 4th century B.C. Athens. Can anyone suggest sources in which I might find information? Recent scholarship is particularly important. I leave for Greece on 20 June, so I need easily accessible information. Thanks, Dave Fletcher You can reach me c/o Gale Tidwell at the following address: ___________________________________________________________________________ Gale Tidwell | Internet: email@example.com English Dept. | Bitnet: tidwelg@firnvx Charlotte High School | Phone: 813/639-2118 ext.131 1250 Cooper Street | Fax: 813/639-0408 Punta Gorda, FL 33950 | ________________________|__________________________________________________ Submitted to EDTECH by: Sally Laughon LAUGHON@VTVM1
