Hi All, I thought someone posted this recently, but I'm not finding it in the archives... My elementary music teachers have asked for an inservice this Friday on ideas for improving their classes by using technology. Here's what they are already doing... - Using Music Ace Maestro software - Groovy Music software - Finale notepad software - Creating playlists on their ipods to support their lessons. Playing iPods through speaker system. - Video taping concerts and making them available online - Posting student performance photos on website - educational videos - Displaying lyrics using data projector Things I have shown one of them and will show the rest... - Using web cam (or Flip video) to record student instrumentalists for showing them (and their parents) their technique - podcasting (mp3 recorders, audacity, podcast hosting) - Using YouTube to find examples of ethnic music What else can you suggest? Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can give.
