Hawaii Pacific University <mailto:mgilbert@hpu.edu%3cmailto:mgilbert@hpu.edu> mgilbert@hpu.edu The deadline for submission of papers/panels for the WHA annual meeting in Minneapolis this June has been extended (to March 31) just in time for me to seek people who would like join in a roundtable on Technology in World History and the World History Classroom. Despite the longer lead time for submissions, for my purposes, I would need to receive the names of panelists and the topics they would ideally like to address by February 26. Other information and the formal panel proposal will be prepared at a later date. There is potential for a publication of individual or a group presentation arising from the panel. Please go to http://www.thewha.org/future_wha_conferences.php for details for formal submission, but interested parties need to send your name and topic (in title form) to me as soon as possible at mgilbert@hpu.edu. Those who have participated in NEH or other workshops/focus groups are especially encourage to come forward. This panel has it roots in the organizers' noting the absence of panels on this important subject. Potential panelists and all those coming to the meeting should register as soon as possible to take advantage of early registration fees, which are lower than last year. With Best Regards, Marc
