Lexington High email@example.com Dear Educators, You can now register for the Educators for Teaching India (EFTI) 2013 conference hosted by the South Asia Institute at Harvard University. This year's conference will take place on April 12 with the theme Democracy in India: Past, Present, Future. Our conference is targeted towards secondary teachers who are interested in broadening and sharing their knowledge of India. All are welcome. Educators who attend this conference come from private and public schools; high schools, middle schools, and universities; and teach a wide variety courses such as world history, literature, and South Asian studies. It is an open and welcoming community for all who want to broaden their knowledge of India. This year's keynote speaker will be Ananya Vajpey, author of Righteous Republic: The Political Foundations of Modern India. We will also feature various workshops that focus on democracy in India and its influence on gender, regionalism, fundamentalism, film, and literature. And there will be a wonderful Indian buffet for lunch! You can check out all the details and register for the conference on our website teachingindia.org. Please pass this information along to anyone who may be interested in India and in attending the conference. And you can now "like" us on Facebook! We look forward to seeing you there!
