The reason for the surge in hits on the Fever of 1793 may have been that a couple of popular books for the YA market were written on the subject, by prize-winning young adult authors. There has lately been a drive for Young Adult authors to lean toward historical fiction. which is a good way of roping kids into the study of history. Debora Duerksken, MLS\
