Dear All,

Today, on the Fifth of November, I would like to echo the sentiments of Dr.
Lemisch and others on Dr. Young.  He was indeed a brilliant scholar and a
generous man, an individual who helped historians young and old.  (A few
short years ago, he guided me from afar, on the phone, talking to me at
length about the research that I was doing on Pope's Day.)  He is very much
missed.

So, yes, let us remember Dr. Young.
