Ideally, I would like to find a group of papers exploring North Carolina's relevance to broader issues in the history of colonial British America. My own work uses a case study of the Lower Cape Fear region to examine the process of regional development in North Carolina. The deadline for submission is October 1, 2000. I would appreciate it if any interested parties would contact me off-list at the following location: Brad Wood Assistant Professor Eastern Kentucky University (859) 622-1289 BRAD.WOOD@eku.edu Best wishes, Brad
