era. To: H-NET/OIEAHC Electronic Association in Early American Studies <H-OIEAHC@H-NET.MSU.EDU> I'm doing a study that revolves around a family that moved from eastern Pennsylvania into present-day Wythe County, Virginia in the mid- to late- 1770s. I'm trying to put their re-settlement into a broader historic and demographic perspective. I've consulted Meining's THE SHAPING OF AMERICA, vol. 1 and Selby's THE REVOLUTION IN VIRGINIA, but I'm looking for something more detailed. Can anyone point to some good studies that deal with European migration into the Allegheny region of Virginia from about the end of the French & Indian War through the Revolution. In advance, many thanks!!! Every kind wish. Larry L. Nelson, llnelson@wcnet.org
