Yagdil Toah (1915-1921), ed. M..B. Tomashoff, was indeed a periodical. It continued the Lithuanian rabbinic journal of the same name. For information, see Y.Goldman & A. Kinsberg, HEBREW PRINTING IN AMERICA (2006), pp.547-549 (#619.)
