Sent: 05 November 2012 13:26 Hello all, I am looking to put together a panel for the next Berkshire Conference on Women's History in Toronto in May 2014. I am hoping for this panel to consider different facets of sexual knowledge. My own paper will discuss sex education for youth of the 1910s, looking specifically at a series of four pamphlets -- two each for boys and girls -- penned by Winfield Scott Hall and published by the American Medical Association in 1914, and how these texts fit into a larger discussion of how to prepare youth for marriage, sex, and family life. I welcome other papers that look to examine sexual knowledge at other time periods and places. If you are interested in joining this panel, please contact me at lmansley@email.wm.edu. Panel proposals are due January 15. Laura Ansley The College of William and Mary
