Sent: 18 October 2012 15:25 Completely reliable scholarship on sexuality and early Christianity has to include work by Elizabeth Clark (leading authority on women and early Christianity) and Peter Brown, whose book, Body and Society, is central to the field. John Boswell's work is still important but a bit dated, but unfortunately, his late book on Same-sex unions, a work dominated by wishful thinking and tendentious reading, should not be relied on at all.
