Sex, Science and Technology The theme for the 5th Annual Brighton and Sussex Sexualities Network Conference is "Hard Science? Sex, Science and Technology". This 1-day conference will take place on Thursday 15th September 2011, 9am-6pm in the Grand Parade site, University of Brighton. The conference is also part of the 'Digital Brighton' festival. We are delighted to confirm the following keynote speakers: Mary L Gray, Indiana University Campbell Ex, Filmmaker Stuart Lorimer and Christina Richards, Charing Cross Gender Identity Clinic This is an interdisciplinary conference aimed at activists, academics, scholars, member of the LGBT community and community groups, students, documentary and film-makers, writers and artists. Presentations will cover a broad range of questions on research and practice around science, technology, queer, sex and sexuality. A full programme will be available on August 31st 2011.
