Date sent: 16 Dec 2008 This may sound simplistic, but has he contacted the group that collects the US AG census? In the distant past I purchased the Ag census from them for $25 or $50/cd for 1995 and 2000 census. But I don't recall now if it contained county level data. Another alternative is for him to ask his ICPSR representative to send an email to the ICPSR OR list to see if others have the data he wants. ORs usually have a large collection of data that is not limited to the holdings in ICPSR. As I recall, once you purchased the cd you were legally able to share the data with others. And, if his interest is geographically limited to say a particular state, he might contact his state USDA rep. My daughter works as the Land Manager in Pitkin County CO with a primary objective to eradicate invasive species there. She works closely with the CO USDA people. Happy Holidays, Carolyn S.
