Dear Colleagues: I am interested in creating a panel addressing the role of cultural and educational initiatives in U.S. foreign relations. My own paper will focus on State Department/USIA efforts to influence Latin American attitudes toward U.S. economic policies and free enterprise during the Eisenhower administration. The panel could focus specifically on Latin American relations, or perhaps focus on cultural diplomacy during the Eisenhower period without constraints as to the region involved. Those interested may contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or call my office at the number listed below. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, H.
