State Library I'm researching the Quinnipiac Native Americans, along with Wallingford and Meriden history.... and came cross this ... It's at the Ct. State Library! What a find! Connecticut archives. 2nd series Indians, Connecticut. General Assembly 1666-1820 The series contains letters, petitions, committee reports, acts, resolves, deeds, treaties, etc. relating to Indians, Indian land disputes, the Mohegan land controversy, and other Indian affairs. The first volume contains documents relating to the Brooklyn, Cornwall, Derby, Groton, Lyme, Middletown, Milford, Mohegan, Niantic, North Stonington and Pequonnock Indians. The second volume contains documents relating to the Pequonnock, Pequot, Quinnipiac, Scatacook, Sharon, Salisbury and Tunxis Indians, plus a series of documents relating to Indian affairs in general. The arrangement is topical.
