================= ECONHIST.MACRO POSTING ================= From: ECOLK@LURE.LATROBE.EDU.AU Dear Colleague, I am engaged in a comparative study of the import of technology and need some Canadian data. The most important ones are the following: 1) GDP (at market prices) 2) Labour costs (average wages, salaries and supplements) 3) Total gross fixed capital expenditure (plant and equipment) 4) The proportion of import in 3 (and if it's possible the countries of origin as well) 5) Index of working time The first three time series should be at constant prices. The first two should be from 1959/60 to 1992/93 or so, while 3, 4 and 5 should go back to 1929/30. As regards periodicity, it should be yearly or annual. If you can help me, please send me an EMAIL before 14/7 to ECOLK@LURE.LATROBE.EDU.AU, or a fax to Budapest, Hungary between 20/7-15/9 (fax: 36 1 1558 924). In the second half of September I'll spend a week or so in Toronto. It would be great if I could meet somebody to consult on this issue. Yours, Laszlo ============ FOOTER TO ECONHIST.MACRO POSTING ============ For information, send the message "info ECONHIST.MACRO" to lists@cs.muohio.edu.
