Call for Articles Muscling in on New Worlds: Jews, Sport, and the Making of the Americas Edited by Raanan Rein, Tel Aviv University David Sheinin, Trent University We are inviting contributions to a new edited volume on Jews and Sport in the Americas. Chapters might be nationally or internationally oriented. Contributors are urged to propose creative and dynamic methodologies and narratives that might prompt new understandings and analyses of sport; Jewish identities and community; nation building; international relations; sport cultures and politics; literary narratives; visual cultures; institution building; gender issues; the body; colonialism; national and ethnic identities; xenophobia/racism/antisemitism; violence; performance; urban geographies; music; and political cultures broadly conceived.
