H-ASIA April 9, 2014 Thanks to Frank Conlon *********** From: Najeeba Arif <najeeba.arif@gmail.com> Dear Frank, It's only a year and a half that I joined H-Asia, when I was planning to visit SOAS for a short term post doc research fellowship. Teaching Urdu literature,I have always been focussing on the socio-political aspect of the literature in the realm of history and it kept me involved in the posts on H-Asia continuously. Perhaps I could not contribute much to the forum but the dozens of posts on H -Asia have been a part of my life throughout the period. It seems it has become an integral activity of the everyday life to go through the posts regularly. Now that you are going to retire and enjoy your life, it's high time to let you know that you have been a part of the life of people living all over the world and have made a lot of difference. I just wish to pay tribute to your endeavor to make us feel that the world is so small and we all share the same globe with common dreams and aspirations. What a difference you have made! Thank you very much for making the world accessible and bringing people closer. Stay blessed ever, Najeeba Arif International Islamic University, Islamabad. ****************************************************************** To post to H-ASIA simply send your message to: <H-ASIA@h-net.msu.edu> For holidays or short absences send post to: <listserv@h-net.msu.edu> with message: SET H-ASIA NOMAIL Upon return, send post with message SET H-ASIA MAIL H-ASIA WEB HOMEPAGE URL:http://h-net.msu.edu/~asia/ --
