Applicants should have (i) a higher degree (at least at Master level) in Chinese literature or a related field and minimum four years' post-Master relevant experience; (ii) an active study specialization in some aspects of Chinese literature; (iii) a wide range of teaching interests; and (iv) high-level proficiency in English and Chinese. The appointee will teach undergraduate courses in Chinese literature and culture in English, and may undertake some administrative duties. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years commencing August 2014, renewable subject to mutual agreement. Salary and Fringe Benefits Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical care, plus a contract-end gratuity for an appointment of two years.
