In September, 2010, Gwangju Metropolitan City and the Gwangju International Center sponsored an international conference on the new Asia -- see (http://www.acf.or.kr/eng/html/main.htm)--; we are now planning a collection of essays on the topic. The present call seeks papers from 3000 to 6000 words on any aspect of the conference topic. Submissions should follow the APA style sheet. Essays, cover letters, and brief biographies should be submitted electronically as MS-Word documents to Professor Robert Grotjohn at rdgrotjohn@chonnam.ac.kr and Karina Prananto at karina@gic.or.kr. The deadline is January 7, 2011. Gwangju plans to sponsor another conference in Fall 2011; a call for papers will be announced soon.
