H-ASIA April 12, 2007 Conference Announcement: CSAA Chinese Studies Association of Australia, Tenth Biennial Conference, 27-29 June 2007 Griffith University, Brisbane *********************************************************************** From: Jill Moriarty <j.moriarty@griffith.edu.au> Chinese Studies Association of Australia 10th Biennial Conference Celebrating Australian China Scholarship Griffith University, South Bank, Brisbane Queensland, Australia 27-29 June 2007 The Chinese Studies Association of Australia [CSAA] is the professional association for China specialists and postgraduate students in Australia. Its membership includes many specialists in the fields of anthropology, economics, geography, history, language, law, justice studies, linguistics, political science, sociology, literature and other aspects of Chinese society and culture. The 10th biennial CSAA conference will be held at Griffith University's South Bank campus. South Bank is a city-centre cultural precinct beside the Brisbane River, featuring parks, theatres, restaurants, museum, art galleries, and Griffith University campuses. The conference papers have been selected and the programme is being organized--a further notice will be posted in the future.
