University of Vienna <Albert.Kraler@univie.ac.at> As you were working on Rwanda, many of you might have resorted to the « Encyclopédie bibliographique du Rwanda » edited by M. d'Hertefelt and myself in 1987 (d'Hertefelt, M. & D. de Lame, 1987, Société, culture et histoire du Rwanda. Encyclopédie bibliographique 1862-1980/87, Tervuren: Musée royal de l'Afrique centrale, 2 vols). Time was ripe to update it. This is almost done. The update will differ from the Encyclopedia in some respect. The references will not be accompanied by an abstract but by detailed keywords attributed, as often as possible, after reading the text. A list of websites and of Journals will be provided. The publication as a book will include articles bearing on recently published literature. An electronic version of the update will be put online. Some of you have already sent me their recent bibliography (1987-2007). We would be happy to include all titles you published in this work due for publication next year.We shall all benefit from knowing better about all our respective publications. Would you be so kind as to send the list of your publications to Francesca Polidori (Francesca.Polidori@africamuseum.be) who will be one of the co-authors and is currently working at the update? May I also ask you to forard this message to your PhD students? This would be an opportunity for them to make their publications known. We wish to get all this information by August, the 20th, at the latest. Hoping this request will be possible to answer at the eve of, or upon returning from, a happy vacation/holiday,
