Glyphdoctors <contact@glyphdoctors.com> While this may seem like a rather daunting suggestion, as an Egyptologist I feel I must make it. The idea of "race" or "ethnicity" with regard to ancient Egypt is a hotly debated and relying on the translations of others is not a good idea. Therefore, if your goal is to publish something on this topic, I suggest you learn ancient Greek. If you rely on translations, you will be dealing with the baggage associated with the translated terms in English. If you know Greek, you will be able to understand the words within their original context, language and culture. I also would suggest you guard against relying solely on the described physical appearance of the ancient Egyptians for drawing any conclusions about them, and to look at their culture as well.
