<amackinn@westga.edu> The (U.S.) South Eastern Regional Seminar on African Studies is pleased to announce the second call for papers for its Fall 2001 conference to be hosted by East Carolina University and the African Studies Committee of ECU in beautiful Greenville NC on Fri 12 and Sat. 13 Oct. 2001 The call for papers is open in terms of topics and methodologies to any aspect and region of African Studies, although the theme for the conference will be African Frontiers. SERSAS welcomes the participation of advanced undergraduate and graduate students, and there will be special panel sessions for Work-In-Progress papers as well as formal presentations. Multi-media presentations are welcome. Faculty are especially encouraged to take advantage of SERSAS's famous friendly and collegial atmosphere to bring along interested students.
