Hello All: I am a PhD student in history who was recently approached by a local state university to adjunct this fall. I will be covering survey I and II. It got me thinking, "how does one go about finding and applying for adjunct positions?" The reason I ask is that the state university openly admits the woeful sum it offers for teaching and I've heard through the grapevine that the local private university pays significantly more. So how do I find out about openings there for the future? Are there general guidelines for this? Thanks for your assistance! Harry Klinkhamer Harry Klinkhamer harry.klinkhamer@earthlink.net
