I see that Congress is considering a bill that will require Internet filtering software on all computers in federally funded libraries, a policy that our reference librarian is dead-set against (I tend to agree). http://www.pcworld.com/shared/printable_articles/0,1440,11478,00.html I would be interested in knowing what policies on freedom of access some of you have in your institutions and how well these policies work.
