Hi! I unsubbed for awhile and am now back on my personal computer. We have some Windows 95 machines that we got a few months ago. Now, one of them is not recognizing that it has a modem. I have gone to the Add new hardware screen and had it find the modem. It then tells me that it has installed it, etc. But when I try to connect to the Net or send mail it tells me that the modem is not responding, and says something about the Network. (We do not have a network.) I know the phone line works, we use it with other computers. Now it is telling me it has Registry problems on startup and I have to restart. I am running Win95 B on the machine with 32 mgs. of RAM,outlook express mail and Internet Explorer 4.0 for my browser. We use a local ISP. Each machine stands alone..they are not networked. (The school is a very small one.) I would appreciate any help you can give. Shirley Rubicon Academy......... We Draw the Line Here tstc@shreve.net Home of the Rebels EDTECH has changed addresses.
