Access, will not let you do a "Save As" in the way that you think of doing this with Word or Excel. Access, will only let you export individual objects (tables, forms, queries, reports, etc) into another database. If you need a copy of your Access database on a disk, then you need to use Windows Explorer or My Computer (on PC, not sure what you use on a MAC) to copy the file. The quickest way is to right click on the file and choose "Send To", "3 1/2 Floppy" Keep in mind that Access databases can easily get too large to fit on a disk. Compacting can sometimes help. Also, I don't recommend working off the disk drive, the access is slow and I've seen too many diskettes get corrupted and the person being upset b/c they lost their information. Always keep a backup copy if you are going to do this. Hope this helps! Elizabeth Whitaker <elwhitaker@ftc-i.net> >Go to FILE, then click on SAVE AS, which is an option under FILE.
