We use Alphasmarts from grades 3 Start the year with nine weeks of keyboarding instruction within language arts instruction. Kids alos use Herzog sensors for the first two weeks at least. Please look at the articles by Dr. Steven Marcus (I think my spelling is right) in alphasmart site for activities ideas. http://www.alphasmart.com You can extend it to Dreamwriter.
