Vickie, Take what I write with a grain of NaCl as I'm still on codiene and a bit goofy, at times. Might not the Journal described earlier provide potential source for an assignment. Depending of course on the the nature of the papers the editor is seeking those from teachers just becoming familiar with micros could be a valuable source. Especially, if they focussed not only on the success of use but the additional time committments, and work necessary to try to make things go. I don;t know of anyone who has presented this kind of data. It could be limited you your class. Or the class could might design a survey for use on the network(s) which would seek to obtain information on the time required to make various commonly used jprograms in K-12 CLASes work (sometimes.). eom/jlb
